It was certainly a day to remember when members of the phoenix car club descended on Casa La Pedrera in their beautiful, treasured and stylish classic cars.  From a Herbie lookalike to, jags, mercs and many more with soft tops down, to take advantage of the fantastic weather. 

I had been to the Castillo at the car club meeting a week earlier to talk about my life, ups and downs, and experiences of living in Spain and wherever I have talked I had met with nodding heads and people who have had similar experiences, which all goes to show we are all in the same boat, just varying in degrees.   There is always someone better and worse off than you and now doing these trails at Casa La Pedrera, I am struck of just how similar views can be, it does not matter what corner of the globe you come from, its how you respond and react to these trails and tribulations that make you stand out from the rest!!
